Expecting the Blessing

I feel like the world has been pounding on me lately. I don't want to share all the details, but we've faced some serious stuff lately, and I have been struggling on more than one front. It's not just adoption related, but multiple issues hitting all at the same time. It was really starting to get me down.

My sage and wise friend, Jenn, dropped off a copy of Facing the Giants for me to watch this week. It was just what I needed, and it was definitely worth the headache that I got from crying over it.

This scene was one of my favorites, and one that really hit home --

Lately, I have been floundering around thinking about how much I need the rain and pouting about all the reasons that the rain might not come. But this really made me think about what I need to be doing to prepare my fields. The floundering days are over, from now on, I will be hard at work, expecting the blessing :)

That's the next movie in my Netflix list. I have heard SUCH great things. I can't wait to see it.

I love that-expecting the blessing! Hang in there, Krystal! Hope the kiddos feel better soon. Those pictures make ME feel sad.

And happy 1/2 year to P Gab. LOVE that picture ;)

I'm so sorry that the world has been pounding you. Sometimes it just seems you can't get a break anywhere. I did finally get my box sent to you yesterday. (I remembered to take the address with me this time. Duh!) It is winging it's way from Tx to Ky right now via UPS. I added lots of extra hugs in there for you!!!!
