Amazed (Again)

Our pediatrican (we have the world's best doctor, by the way) teams up with Sarah Havard Photography to display portraits of some of the patients in the office. You might remember that I was so excited about the first display and posted about it here and here. Sarah also did our birth announcements for Parker, and I loved them more than you could ever imagine!

Last month, we had a session with Sarah for a new display this year. Despite the facts that neither child was interested in participating and Brayden had a major sensory meltdown when he saw something fuzzy in the room, Sarah got some terrific shots (as you can see!). Seriously, if you guys had seen how these children acted!! I have no idea how she even got a picture of them at all! But she is pretty magical :)

I jokingly told her that I did not even want to look at the proofs because I couldn't afford to buy any. . . she showed me anyway :) And she told me to pick out what I wanted, because she wanted to GIVE me prints. Unheard of, I know - but she was not done! Sarah told me that since she found out that we were adopting again, she had been thinking about us and she felt like she wanted to "do something" for us. She said that she had thought about it for months but had not come up with the right idea until now. She knew that with the special sessions for the display that she would be having a very busy month, so she wanted to give us a % of her sales for our adoption fund!!!

Now, let me recap, in case you are not getting just how amazing this is. Sarah hardly even knows us! She is just this sweet person who has a heart for adoption. . . and a very generous spirit! She is an angel, who took portraits of my babies and then mailed them to me along with a very generous check that said, "For the boys!" . . . Needless to say, we were once again humbled and amazed by God's gifts and by the people who so joyfully take part in them.

Thank you, Sarah. Thank you for loving us, and thank you for loving our boys :)
