Reading this post reminded me of something else (here) that I had intended to share at some point, but forgot to! I say "I am hoping for" or something similar quite often. When I say or write hope, I always think of this definition --
A confident expectation and desire for something good in the future.
For me, hope is not just a wish for something good to happen. It is a belief (and sometimes it feels like a reckless belief!) that something good is going to happen. I expect good. I am still expecting the blessing :) Not too long ago, when my life was easy and her life was not so easy, someone close to me asked something like "How do you handle it when it feels like nothing is going your way?" The only answer that I could think of was a short one. I said, "I just keep hoping. Because I know that God is taking me somewhere, and I know that in the end, it is somewhere good." At the time, I expect that she thought that was an empty answer. Now, when life is not as easy, I can still stay that I keep hoping. Even when it is hard, and even when it seems silly and naive, I keep hoping.
PS - I promise to return to all of my light & airy "fluff" and pretty pictures soon :)
