Sarah McLachlan Video
If you haven't seen Sarah McLachlan's World On Fire Video, I suggest that you watch it at http://worldonfire.ca . I love it when people use their fame and fortune for the good of others. I realize that $150k may not be that much to her, but it does mean a lot to others in this world. Maybe this will encourage more of us to give what we can. Although it isn't detailed in the video, it looks like some of the $ went to Guatemala.

it doesn't take much to make me cry anymore, but I bawled through the whole video, even though I've seen it before.
I'm so glad you adopted Brayden, and that one less child will live like the ones in that video.
It's just amazing what we take for granted here in the US.
Wow, that is powerful, thanks for the link. I use to love Sarah McLachlan, even went to a concert back in the day but, I hadn't heard this (I barely get to listen to anything besides Sing-A-Longs). Hope that everything goes well at the cardio appt.
