Please pray for this handsome young man!!!! This is Lucas. He is currently living in the same home as Gerson & Elviz, and he is Gerson's friend. Lucas had a very important hearing today regarding his abandonment decree. The hearing did not go well, and the judge is not only considering not issuing the COA but also is considering moving Lucas to another hogar. My friend, Jane, is trying to adopt Lucas, but if the judge makes these decisions, she will not be able to. . . in fact, if the judge makes these decisions, Lucas will not be available for adoption by anyone.Please pray for this situation:
-Pray that Lucas is not moved to another home. He is currently in a top-notch facility, living with friends and care takers that he knows. Lucas has some health concerns, so it is imperative that he not be moved. If he were moved, the level of care would be significantly decreased for this child.
-Pray that the judge involved in this case makes his decision based on what is best for this child. Pray that Lucas is given the opportunity to be placed in a permanent, loving home with a forever family.
-Pray that Jane is given strength, comfort, and guidance during this trying time.

Praying for Lucas. If more judges would make decisions on the best interest of the children these kids would get home faster. I am praying for your friend that she is able to bring Lucas home.
