Knock, knock, knock -- is anyone there?  Just dropping by in case there is anyone who might still check in here and isn't on facebook.  I keep thinking that I need to get back into the blogging habit, but at the end of most days, I don't seem to have enough brain function left to type anything out!

The kids are doing great.  Growing and maturing and all of the wonderful things that they are supposed to do.  They are both in preschool this year.  Mynor likes school, but it can be a (stressful!) challenge sometimes.  Parker G loves school and is having the time of her life.        

I don't have any update on Gerson & Elviz.  We get no information.  There is a hearing scheduled in March, so hopefully I will get to see them in 4.5 months.

Three Years . . .

I will blog again someday, right?  Yeah, I keep telling myself that I will . . . but so far, I have failed 2010 big time!

and of course, that reminded me of how desperately I miss these boys.  It's been almost 6 months since I have seen them . . . oh, I miss them.  I still have not given up.  I still anxiously check my email each day - Always looking for a glimmer of hope; Always thinking that maybe, just maybe, today will be the day for progress; Always thinking that good news could still come. . . Good news could still come, right?

Work in Progress

I'm playing around with the blog design, but I can't seem to figure out a theme that works for me. . . so don't be surprised if I change it 1 million times and then go back to the old look.  I also want to change the name, but I haven't thought of anything that I like yet.  Guess I'll keep working on it!

I am sad to update that Trina passed away on Saturday.  She was a wonderful, beautiful person, and she will be missed by so many people.  If you would like to help Trina's family please visit http://www.areyou1in8.blogspot.com/ to send encouraging words,send cards, or donate to The Trina Gonzalez Memorial Fund.  Please pray for Trina's family.

Please Pray for Trina

Please pray for my friend Trina. She has been fighting for her life since being diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer in May. She has been in the hospital since Saturday and is going through an incredibly difficult time right now. Trina is only 40 years old, and this is the 2nd time that she has fought cancer. She has a sweet little son, a husband, and an incredible family who all love her so very much! Trina and her family are very special to me - they are an inspiration of love and life.

Christmas Time

Mynor & Parker G absolutely love Christmas time. The trees, the lights, the holiday songs, and Christmas cartoons - they love it all!!

So happy to see the Christmas tree, even if it still doesn't have any ornaments!The penguin party house has brought years of joy to this boy :)Trains make everything better . . .Parker was so happy to wear her snowman dressAnd her Abominable hairbow :)

Of course, she needed a little fancy hair to go with her bow. We went to Southern Lights the Saturday after Thanksgiving.It worked out great because it was warm, and we were able to enjoy everything outside a little more this year. Tia loves a nutcracker!
